Veteran Home Project – The Biddle House

Veteran Home Project – The Biddle House

WFM’s AT EASE Interior program took on a Veteran’s home in Columbus county. Work started on Glen  and Selma Biddle’s house in April and is scheduled to wrap up by May 6th. A volunteer groups from Warrior Family Ministries, most being WFM Chaplains came together on April 22nd to start the extensive out side work that included replacing siding and window trim, replacing all insulation under the house, repairing and laying center block foundations, building a deck and ramp for their back door area and some general yard clean-up.

Glen is a Vietnam Veteran and Selma is a retired Brunswick County Sheriff. Glen had heard about Warrior Family Ministries and had reached out to see if we could give him a hand. Upon filling out the application for our AT EASE program, WFM jumped in and lined up the workers. We should finish up his house within the next few work days.
