We are convinced that revival in our nation is waiting in on God’s people coming to Him, personally and collectively, in prayer that is marked by this kind of reverent submission and fear of God. Our society and our culture is at a point where we believe that Christians need to let the prayer life of Jesus penetrate us until we are in on God’s agenda when we pray. Then what happened when Jesus prayed will happen for us. Heaven and earth will join together, and the word we hear from the Father will center around how God is going to carry out the deliverance of the whole world through the proclamation of the Gospel.
Could it be that God’s invitation to us in the days to come is to let us in on such a conversation from heaven? Could it be that He is about to bring release from the bondage of sin in our nation and world and to bring a great spiritual revival?
The historic events in recent years have included so many tragedies of epic proportion, bringing many reminders of the powerful hold of darkness on our world. Every time one of these major events takes place, it gives us a spiritual wake up call. We sense God asking everyone of us, “Do you know what could be prevented if you would only pray?”
In such a time as this, in the days of our flesh, what could be more important for us than to understand what is on the heart of God regarding revival and spiritual awakening in our land and in our world?
