1 Corinthians 1:30 “Of God are ye in Christ Jesus, who was made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption.”
In all of your daily life, your ways, your work, in everything abide in Jesus as your wisdom. Your body and your daily life share in the great salvation: In Christ, the wisdom of God, provision has been made for your guidance too. Your body is His temple, your daily life is the sphere for glorifying Him. That your earthly concerns be guided by Him is a matter of great concern to Him. Trust Him, believe His love, wait for His guidance and it will be given. Abiding in Jesus, your mind will be calmed and freed from passion, your judgment cleared and strengthened; the light of God will shine on earthly things, and your prayers for wisdom will be answered above what you think or ask.
In any work you do for God, abide in Jesus as your wisdom. Eph.2:10 “We are . . . created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Let all fear and doubt be put far away. In Christ Jesus we are created for them. He will show us what they are and how to do them. Rejoice in the knowledge that His divine wisdom is guiding you even when you do not see the way.
Abide in Jesus as your wisdom. Maintain a spirit of waiting and dependence that always wants to learn and will move only as He leads you on. Withdraw yourself from all needless distractions, close your ears to the voices of the world and listen for the wisdom that He has to teach you. Remember that the teaching and guidance does not come from without; it is by His life in us that God’s wisdom does His work. Get alone with Him as often as possible and allow Him to speak to your heart. Hold Him close in confidence, even when you might not think He is close. He is the light and He is the leader of His own. Live every day in the truth that as the living Christ Jesus, your first and last concern must always be to abide in Him. Abiding in Him, His wisdom will come to you as the outpouring of a life that is rooted in Him. I abide in Christ, who was made wisdom unto us from God; wisdom will be given to me.
