60 Days of Prayer ~ Day 10

60 Days of Prayer ~ Day 10

Today is day 10 of our 60 days of prayer for our Kentucky event. For today I would ask that you continue to focus on each day’s topic but also continue the previous days’ prayer needs. Remember, Warriors are needed. We will be in enemy territory, bringing the Light to the dark. We need seasoned Warriors, those who are bold, ready to face what comes our way and who know that the fight begins on our knees.

Day 10. The stance of the Warrior. When we start to realize that we are part of something more than ourself, our heart’s desire, our needs, and wants, we come to just self. The stance of a Warrior is first and foremost the ability to empty ourself totally of everything so there is nothing else but our servanthood to the Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s be honest here, this is not an easy task. For me, it’s a daily, sometimes moment by moment thing. Life gets crazy quick. Not only do I have my own stuff to deal with but I have my family’s stuff, business stuff, Chaplain stuff, ministry stuff, then did I say just daily stuff. I also know I am not alone in this; you are here too. Thank you Lord for your Mercy & Grace that is more than enough for me and my crazy stuff!

As a seasoned Warrior I take the stance daily to just want Him. With all the business and noise of life, I still just want Jesus. I cannot remember a time when He wasn’t with me. He has walked my life right there with me… even when I just wanted to go my own way. So how do we take that stance? Get intimate with The Lord. We stand from a place of rest. Warrior fight from this place. We surrender life and all it entails to Him and we rest in His arms. That knowledge that He has me, He’s got my six, and if He’s got me then he also has my heart’s desire, my needs, and wants, my crazy family, business and Chaplains. Why would He do this? Why would He tell me to rest in Him? Simple – He Loves Me. Get on your knees today, repent of the selfishness, the desires and wants, empty yourself to Him. And for God’s sake, worship the one and only Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

We ARE the ARMY of GOD! We ARE on the FRONT LINES! We are HIS WARRIORS!

I’ve got your six but most important – He’s got our six.
