Day 22. Notice. There is a time in this walk with Christ that He starts “opening” your eyes to the people around you in such a way that it changes the way you walk through this world. Since we know God is good, faithful and walks this life with us then as Christians, we should recognize Him in others. Oh, and they should definitely recognize Christ in us. We are atmosphere changers. We’ve been told we bring the Light to the darkness (even in the middle of the day – His light burns brighter). If then, we are to replicate Christ and the Father’s love as we go about, then we are also to keep our eyes open to the people He draws our gaze too. Most of you know that I don’t like grocery shopping. I go into a store with a battle plan to execute – get in, get what is needed, get out – stealth and quick. Then God… It never fails, I go in with my plan and He smiles and wrecks it. All of a sudden, I’m standing looking for cheese and some lady comes up and ask me a random question (I actually had one ask me if I knew anyone who could decorate her Christmas tree -in the cheese section!). Or I turn down an aisle and someone is trying to reach something, so I grab it for them and the next thing I know they are pouring their heart out. Of course, the next thing I’m hearing in my mind is “prayer on aisle 3” and the flood gate opens. My point is this, you can no longer “hide your light under a basket”. We are in the midst of a battle and any good soldier knows that you have to notice your surroundings, notice who’s around and notice the way the troops are moving. Open your eyes and take notice.

We ARE the ARMY of GOD! We ARE on the FRONT LINES! We are HIS WARRIORS!
I’ve got your six but most important – He’s got our six.
