Today is day 6 of our 60 days of prayer for our Kentucky event. For today I would ask that you continue to focus on each day’s topic but also continue the previous days’ prayer needs. Remember, Warriors are needed. We will be in enemy territory, bringing the Light to the dark. We need seasoned Warriors, those who are bold, ready to face what comes our way and who know that the fight begins on our knees.
Day 6. True Worship. Have you ever experienced the moment that true worship entered and singing praise songs left? There are elements of worship that do this; total surrender, abandoning yourself fully, a physical posture, a mental posture and yes there are emotions. I mean, how can there not be when you come to that moment. Worship is about HIM – period. It’s not about me, my needs or my desires/wants. I love in the Bible where we get this picture of the Cherubs and Angels singing while circling the Throne and we, mere humans, are below singing with them in unison. Can you see this? Wow, and we, you get to be part of this.
As we continue to prepare for this event, this furthering of His Kingdom, this emptying of ourself so we can be who He is asking us to be, we gather together to (physically and virtually) enter into His presence with true worship. I am only listing one Scripture reference because it’s all you need.
