Today is day 5 of our 60 days of prayer for our Kentucky event. For today I would ask that you continue to focus on each day’s topic but also continue the previous days’ prayer needs. Remember, Warriors are needed. We will be in enemy territory, bringing the Light to the dark. We need seasoned Warriors, those who are bold, ready to face what comes our way and who know that the fight begins on our knees.
Day 5. He leaves the ninety-nine for the one (Matthew 18:12). I think it’s important at this stage of our 60 days to be reminded how much we are loved by the Father. The depth, the height, the width, the incomprehensible amount that if we really got real would drive you to your knees in awe. You have to get real with yourself in this relationship with Him. Our hearts have to be prepared to show His love and you can’t do that unless you receive that love.
I love sharing stories, testimonies, God moments, so I have one to share. I personally have known that I am loved by the Lord. But, the total surrender into this LOVE, the past that I couldn’t get over, you know the one, it’s the one or two things that the enemy uses to just annihilate you at times, I hung onto. I knew He loved me but…. the “but” was my comfort zone. Sounds crazy to some of you, but…. To some of you, you know what I mean. I went to a worship service about 7 years ago. The lights weren’t down, the stage wasn’t big, wasn’t in black. Just a bunch of people worshipping. I can’t even remember the song except for this one line that we sang over and over ….. He Loves Me. That was it, He Loves Me. Dude, can I tell you – it wrecked me. That realization that He loves me, He’s Proud of Me, He Chased After Brenda because He loves me. Guess what! He loves you too. He knows your heart, thoughts, rebelliousness. He knows your future, present, your past and HE STILL LOVES YOU – just as you are. Get to know that love so when we are face to face with people searching for that kind of LOVE you speak from your heart about a Father’s love that can’t be matched.
