In the Scriptures, those that knew they were in the presence of God often fell face down with no strength left in them. But today, so many have lost the awe of coming before God in prayer. They forget that God is not just your common buddy, He is God almighty, He is holy God. We ought to have a holy hush before Him in His presence! When was the last time you quietly entered the presence of God and there came over you such a sense of awe that you could hardly open your mouth?
Let the teachings of Jesus as well as His example continue to teach us to properly revere the holy name of God!
