60 Days of Prayer ~ Day 18

60 Days of Prayer ~ Day 18

Day 18. Stuck. It’s early morning and as I sit here with the King, I keep hearing this song in my head. It’s stuck. The words resonate within me. It calls to my soul. There comes a time when we as western Christians reach a point that nothing else matters but Him. Just when you feel like you have an amazing relationship with the Lord, He reveals the more. We talk about surrendering things to God, we pray, fast, dive deeper into the Word (which is all good) because in some weird way of thinking, we think because of our faithfulness and obedience He will move on whatever we are asking or need at the time. It’s the formula we were taught, preach to about, did studies about. I want you to know there is no formula when it comes to HIM. What does He require? Everything and Nothing Less. So, what does Everything and Nothing Less look like? Nothing that you have ever experienced in this lifetime. It’s a day by day, moment by moment relationship. When the Word speaks in Philippians 2:1-30 (yes, I’m going to spill this one so you’ll actually read it), “So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, ...”, we need to pay attention. These words were not written to be read out of ritual or because you “read” the Word every day and it’s the next thing on your list or app. Go back and READ it. Meditate on it. Make it become a part of who you are as you learn the meaning of Everything and Nothing Else.

I Am Who You Say I Am – Watch

We ARE the ARMY of GOD! We ARE on the FRONT LINES! We are HIS WARRIORS!

I’ve got your six but most important – He’s got our six.
