60 Days of Prayer ~ Day 20

60 Days of Prayer ~ Day 20

Day 20. Defender. The mercy and grace that is bestowed to me every day, how do I even begin to say thank you? There are no words in this vocabulary to express the depth of my heart to my Lord, to my Jesus for what he does for me daily, moment by moment – in seconds most times. If you have been following this 60 Days of Prayer writings then you know a little about my heart for my King. My desire is to be like David, a woman after God’s heart. To know Him in such an intimate way, to see His hand in my life, to instill in me such a Warrior’s heart. He goes before me, He is the one wielding His sword clearing my path in enemy territory. Yet, I don’t even know it most times. Do I really know the cost of His defense for me? His life, His all – He gave it all for Brenda. It can be overwhelming this depth of love. Then think about this, if He does this for me, He also is doing it for YOU. That’s right, for YOU…. Even if you run away, don’t want anything to do with Him or as one of my son’s has said, “He’s your Jesus, if He is there, then He needs to show me how He is my Jesus.” If this is you (let’s be real) then just ask Him too. He will reveal Himself to you, but be ready – the revelation of Jesus will rock you to the core.
